Reg Reporting Analyst – 12 month FTC
Overall Summary
About the Role
A UK banking group is hiring into its regulatory reporting function. The role centres on capital and balance sheet reporting: own funds, risk-weighted assets, and the quarterly COREP submissions covering capital adequacy, leverage and large exposures.
The successful candidate will track regulatory changes as they happens and turn that into practical updates to how the team works.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly production of own funds and RWA figures, packaging results into management reporting for senior finance stakeholders and committee review
- Lead on quarterly regulatory submissions (COREP: capital adequacy, leverage, large exposures) from build through to sign-off
- Stay ahead of regulatory developments and flag their operational impact before they land
- Feed into regulatory change projects, drafting requirements documentation
- Act as the day-to-day contact for Finance and other teams on reporting queries
- Coordinate with the Financial Control team so upstream changes reach reporting in a timely manner
- Handle one-off information requests from internal teams and external parties
