We have a new opportunity for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support the expansion of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) offerings across European markets.

This role is focused on regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, and operational governance within open banking frameworks. The successful candidate will work closely with a client-side regulatory lead to build domain knowledge while delivering accurate, timely, and compliant reporting outputs.

The position will suit a junior to mid-level analyst (2–3 years’ experience) with strong exposure to regulatory reporting in banking, payments, or fintech, and the ability to work with data, SQL, and cross-functional stakeholders.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

  • Generate, validate, and submit regulatory reports aligned to PSD2 and UK open banking frameworks, including:
    • Incident and breach reporting (e.g. FCA reporting requirements)
    • Fraud, complaints, and redress reporting
    • Transactional and operational reporting
  • Monitor and report on API performance and availability metrics, including uptime, latency, error rates, and service disruptions
  • Support incident classification and breach reporting, ensuring alignment with FCA and relevant regulatory guidelines
  • Perform ongoing compliance monitoring, including audit trails for customer consent and data access across open banking journeys
  • Investigate reporting discrepancies, operational anomalies, and API performance issues, working with engineering teams to resolve data issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of reporting methodologies, regulatory requirements, and audit processes
  • Track reporting deadlines, regulatory calendars, and submission obligations to ensure timely compliance
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and information requests
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with engineering teams to source data, validate reporting outputs, and resolve data quality issues
    • Work with product and compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are reflected in operational processes
    • Engage with stakeholders across engineering, product, compliance, and risk to support reporting and governance activities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
