In this role, you will leverage your expertise in regulatory reporting, data analysis, and change delivery to translate complex Capital, Liquidity, Financial, Statistical, and Prudential reporting requirements into scalable, sustainable, and well-controlled solutions. You will work across the full change lifecycle, from regulatory interpretation and impact assessment through design, testing, implementation, and business adoption, helping to strengthen regulatory reporting capabilities and improve data quality, governance, and operational efficiency.
The role provides broad exposure to regulatory change, business growth initiatives, platform modernisation, data transformation, automation, and control enhancement programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical and collaborative professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a global organization and contribute to the continued evolution of Wells Fargo's regulatory reporting landscape.
In this role, you will:
- Analyse regulatory requirements, reporting instructions, and business needs to define clear reporting and system solutions that support regulatory compliance.
- Partner with Regulatory Reporting, Technology, Data, Risk, Treasury, Finance, and Front Office stakeholders to gather requirements, assess impacts, and drive delivery of change initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, business rules, data mappings, calculation logic, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Assess the impact of change across products, legal entities, source systems, data lineage, reporting rules, controls, and operating processes.
- Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, dependency management, and risk identification.
- Define data sourcing, reconciliation, validation, control, and data quality requirements to support accurate and sustainable regulatory reporting.
- Develop testing strategies and support system, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet functional and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate implementation readiness activities, including stakeholder communications, business procedures, training, operational handover, and post-production support.
- Maintain clear and audit-ready documentation to support governance, regulatory expectations, and change management standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance reporting processes, strengthen controls, reduce manual activities, and improve delivery practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
