Regulatory Reporting Consultant/Contractor

Leicester, hybrid working Banking, Financial Services £350–£450 per day (IR35 status TBC) 3 months (chance to extend)

A UK-regulated bank has kicked off a project to automate its regulatory reporting to the PRA and Bank of England, and needs an experienced contractor to support this alongside the existing business-as-usual reporting cycle. You'll work closely with the regulatory reporting team to keep both the project and day-to-day submissions on track and within deadline.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing regulatory reports on weekly, monthly and quarterly cycles
  • Supporting the testing and documentation of a new regulatory reporting system
  • Carrying out data analysis to identify and flag trends in key regulatory metrics
  • Helping drive continuous improvement of reporting procedures and controls documentation

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience producing Capital & Liquidity regulatory reports
  • Solid knowledge of CRR II and SDDT, or Basel III regulatory rules
  • Strong Excel skills and a good eye for detail
  • Experience working on a regulatory reporting systems implementation project
  • Broad banking industry knowledge and/or a professional accounting qualification would be a plus
