Contract start: ASAP

Contract duration: 6 months initially

Contract location: London 5 days weekly onsite

Contract Rate: inside IR35

Overview

Deloitte Operations are looking for a skilled Regulatory Reporting Data BA / Data SME to support a large-scale Regulatory Reporting re-platforming programme. This role will focus on detailed systems analysis, source-to-target mapping, data lineage, reporting logic and data quality controls across EMIR, SFTR and MiFID reporting processes.

  • Perform detailed source-to-target data mapping and data lineage analysis.
  • Define and assess Data Quality (DQ) rules, controls and reporting logic.
  • Support regulatory reporting engine migration and transformation activities.
  • Identify data gaps, control weaknesses and remediation opportunities.
  • Document business and functional requirements.
  • Work closely with Technology, Architecture, Operations and Compliance teams.
  • Support testing and validation of reporting outputs.

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience in Regulatory Reporting data transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of EMIR, SFTR and/or MiFID II reporting fields and requirements.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Data lineage and systems mapping
    • Data quality frameworks and controls
    • Reporting engine transformation projects
    • Regulatory reporting data analysis
    • Gap analysis and root cause investigations
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle events and reporting data flows.
  • Experience within a tier 1 US investment bank

Highly Desirable

  • Experience with DTCC, UnaVista, Regis-TR, CME Repository, Kaizen or similar reporting platforms.
  • SQL and data interrogation skills.
  • Commodity derivatives experience across Oil, Gas, Metals or Agriculture products.
