Overall Summary

At Close Brothers we look to recruit individuals from all different backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick every box. We celebrate diversity and promote inclusivity. Vacancies are available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis because we know the best person for the job isn’t always available full-time. Our aim is to facilitate requests wherever possible and managers will consider requests on an individual basis.

Join Close Brothers Regulatory Reporting Team where you will ensure that all BAU regulatory reporting is accurately submitted on a timely basis to the Prudential Regulation Authority and Bank of England for the Bank and the Consolidated Group. This includes all liquidity and statistical reporting, and relevant regulatory disclosures in the group’s Financial Statements and other financial reporting.

The role holder will achieve this by supporting the production of returns as required, identifying and implementing improvements to processes and controls, and inputting into key regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities

Submission of regulatory returns

  • Review the prudential and statistical regulatory returns (PRA110, NSFR, LCR, COREP and Bank of England statistical) as required to ensure returns are submitted accurately and on time
  • Consolidate existing reporting processes, including liaison with key stakeholders, in particular Finance, Risk and Treasury to ensure appropriate reviews are undertaken and sufficient challenge has taken place

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
