Our Regulatory Reporting Team⭐

We’re searching for an ambitious, innovative, and caring professional to help inspire and develop our Regulatory Reporting team.

Reporting into the Regulatory Reporting Policy Team Senior Manager, the role is primarily responsible for ensuring our horizon scanning and interpretation activities (e.g., PRA Rulebook, EU CRR) are correctly reflected in our capital, liquidity, and financial returns, and monitoring our adherence to the applicable UK and European prudential rules on an ongoing basis. This includes identifying and defining any changes required to data and production quickly and safely.

Combining the learnings of some of the fastest-growing tech companies in the world with your own unique approach, you will manage a high-energy, dynamic workstream to foster open, collaborative, and inclusive working, embrace change, and inspire continuous learning. You will help enable Monzo to scale into a world-class, diverse, and passionate group of people capable of effecting change across the globe.

🔑You’ll play a key role by:

  • Proactively identifying and interpreting the rules, regulations, and guidance applicable to the Regulatory Reporting team at Monzo, and ensuring ongoing compliance in the production of returns.
  • Developing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining the processes and controls required to maintain Monzo’s interpretations.
  • Ensuring that the processes and controls in place to produce returns are compliant with the applicable regulations in order to facilitate accurate, complete, and timely reporting.
  • Working closely with our engineers and data scientists to ensure we source the correct data efficiency, accuracy, and timelines consistently across the reporting suite.
  • Working with a range of internal stakeholders, including Treasury, Risk, Data, and project teams, to navigate and agree on what can be complex or ambiguous regulations in order to achieve the safest outcome for Monzo.
  • Facilitating robust, appropriate governance over the identification and interpretation of the applicable regulations and the implementation of the rule in reporting outputs.
  • Reviewing all capital, liquidity, and financial regulatory returns and any other returns the Regulatory Reporting team produces to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Instilling a culture of continuous improvement throughout and engaging effectively with relevant stakeholders to implement changes that lead to improvement.
  • Playing a key role in the automation of Monzo’s regulatory reporting, specifically implementation, user acceptance testing, and maintenance.
  • Ensuring that changes to processes that support regulatory reporting are implemented quickly and safely.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the governance and control framework required for regulatory reporting and expected by our Regulators.
  • Contributing towards our ambitious expansion plans including supporting the rest of Monzo and ensuring that the Regulatory Reporting team is always an enabler.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
