About Kroo
We’re building a better bank. One that puts customers first, treats money responsibly and uses technology to make everyday banking simpler, fairer and more transparent. We’re a fully regulated UK bank, backed by long term investors, with a growing customer base. We hold ourselves to high standards in how we build products, manage risk and support our people.
The opportunity
We’re looking for a Regulatory Reporting Manager to take ownership of our regulatory reporting, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete and delivered on time. You’ll bring strong knowledge of banking capital and liquidity requirements, together with the practical experience to turn those requirements into clear reporting processes and effective controls. Working closely with Finance and Treasury, you’ll ensure our reporting reflects balance sheet activity and supports effective capital and liquidity management. You’ll also help improve our systems, data and processes as the bank grows, with opportunities to contribute to wider capital and liquidity work.
What you’ll do
- Manage the production, review and submission of regulatory returns, coordinating inputs, deadlines and approvals.
- Interpret prudential capital and liquidity requirements and apply them to reporting methodologies, processes and controls.
- Work closely with Treasury to ensure reporting uses consistent data and assumptions and reflects balance sheet activity.
- Reconcile regulatory returns to the general ledger and source systems, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Maintain clear documentation, review procedures and audit trails, escalating risks when needed.
- Assess regulatory changes and implement the reporting and process updates required.
- Prepare clear commentary for governance forums and respond to queries from auditors, regulators and internal stakeholders.
- Improve reporting systems and data flows, reduce manual reporting risk and support wider Finance and Treasury priorities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
