Join us as a Regulatory Reporting Solutions Analyst
This is a unique opportunity to join an area that has a significant focus across the bank. We’ll look to you to maintain our existing SAS and AWS reports to support the internal and external regulatory reporting outcomes. You’ll be provided with a platform to keep building your knowledge and expertise, and will be offered the opportunity to grow your network across Regulatory Reporting and Finance. We offer a hybrid way of working where you'll spend a minimum of two days per week in the office, with the rest of your time working from home.
What you'll do
As a Regulatory Reporting Solutions Analyst, you’ll be supporting the production of reports from SAS or other tools, which are complete, controlled, and accurate prior to sign-off and submission to regulators.
You’ll Also Be
- Maintaining the existing AWS and SAS reports to support the internal and external BAU Regulatory Reporting outcomes
- Supporting the redevelopment of existing SAS reports on AWS in line with our technology strategy
- Making sure that all controls and processes are documented and are completed to a high standard
- Ensuring traceability so that there are effective audit trails, analysis, and appropriate documentation to support the published numbers
- Agreeing procedures, timelines, and delivery plans for reporting
- Presenting analysis in a suitable format, tailoring communications to stakeholders
- Developing a broader understanding of regulatory reporting outcomes across the team, and providing support for key BAU processes where required
- Proactively managing upwards by providing timely updates, escalating risks and issues appropriately, and supporting effective decision-making

The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need programming experience in Python or SQL, with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines, work flexibly, and adapt to changes in priority.

You'll have a basic understanding of banking capital regulations and regulatory capital reporting requirements, or the ability and willingness to rapidly build familiarity in this area, and you'll be interested in developing knowledge of Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) methodologies and the logic underpinning Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) calculations.
Additionally, You’ll Need
- Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience of task delivery in an analytical, regulatory, or reporting context
- An understanding of Agile ways of working
- Experience of working with risk data or in an external reporting team
- Good stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage upwards effectively, communicating progress, challenges, and dependencies to senior stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to upskill across multiple reporting outcomes and support a wider range of team processes and deliverables
