Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst (VBA)

Must have VBA and Repos and Reverse Repos
Central London (Hybrid)
£600 per day (umbrella)
6-Month Contract
ASAP Start (August/September 2026)

We're partnering with a mid-tier bank to recruit an experienced Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst for a interim project within their Regulatory Reporting function.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, you will play a key role in delivering a tactical regulatory reporting solution using VBA and supporting key Basel 3.1 initiatives.

The Opportunity

This is a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager position, with an approximate 85% BA / 15% PM split.

  • First Four Months: Lead the analysis, design, and development of a tactical solution, including the creation of robust Excel-based models using VBA. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the bank to ensure successful delivery against agreed project timelines.
  • Final Two Months: Your focus will shift towards supporting the bank's Basel 3.1 programme and associated regulatory reporting requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
