Rehabilitation Support Worker - Neuro Rehabilitation Residential Home, Barnsley

We are looking for kind, compassionate, motivated, and caring individuals to join us as a Rehabilitation Support Worker within our specialist Neuro Rehabilitation team. Whether you already have experience in care or are looking for a rewarding new career, we would love to hear from you.

This is more than a care role. You will play a huge part in supporting individuals that have experienced an acquired brain injury or stroke, to regain their independence, rebuild confidence, and relearn activities of daily living.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will:

  • Support individuals with daily living activities and all aspects of personal care.
  • Encourage independence and participation in rehabilitation programmes.
  • Work alongside therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist individuals to achieve personal goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Support individuals with social, recreational, and community activities.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Promote dignity, respect, and person-centred care at all times.
