POSITION: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: RETAIL AND EDUCATION

LOCATION: SOUTH

REPORTS TO: HEAD OF RETAIL AND EDUCATION

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To lead and develop the field retail team across the region to deliver retail excellence, enhanced productivity, improved rankings and strong brand image, ultimately driving the achievement of retail sales and KPI targets across the distribution.

Job Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Sales Leadership

  • Deliver the regional retail strategy in line with the overall brand vision and business objectives.
  • Drive sales performance, productivity and brand standards across all doors within the region.
  • Lead and drive effective execution of retail priorities, launches, animations and commercial initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve store performance and implement action plans to maximize sales and KPI delivery.
  • Monitor regional performance and implement clear action plans to improve results.

Business Performance

  • Support the delivery of annual sales targets across the region and ensure each door has clear plans in place to achieve objectives.
  • Monitor trading results and retail KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure performance remains on track.
  • Analyse sales, productivity, conversion, ATV, UPT and other key metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement in-flight actions to improve underperformance and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Lead the management of regional profitability through effective control of staffing (FTE) and agency staff budget.

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach and motivate Account Managers and store teams to deliver strong commercial results.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and excellence.
  • Ensure consistent people management practices across the region. Support talent development and succession planning to build future capability within the team.
  • Monitor labour turnover and support initiatives to improve engagement, morale and retention.

Retail Excellence

  • Ensure exceptional execution of brand standards, service expectations and client experience across all locations.
  • Drive consistency in retail operations and ways of working across the region.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure all retail opportunities are maximized.
  • Ensure follow-up on retail activations and provide feedback and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Support CRM recruitment and clienteling initiatives in line with brand objectives.

Education and Capability

  • Work closely with the Education team to ensure training priorities are aligned to business needs and brand ambitions.
  • Support the implementation of education plans and quarterly training activity across the region and incentive strategies to ensure maximum engagement.
  • Ensure teams are equipped with the product knowledge, selling skills and brand understanding needed to perform strongly.
  • Promote engagement with education initiatives and incentive schemes to drive performance.

  • Review staffing productivity regularly and activate action plans where required.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Support effective stock management and controlled investment, particularly around launches and peak trading periods.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication between head office, field teams and retail partners.

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years retail management experience
  • High affinity to luxury and understanding of the UK retail environment
  • Proven management and team development experience
  • Strong personal impact and leadership capability
  • Good understanding of luxury retail principles
