At Explore Manufacturing, you'll be part of the digital engineering team behind Laing O'Rourke's industry-leading precast concrete solutions. Working at the intersection of design, digital technology and advanced manufacturing, you'll help transform engineering concepts into precision-engineered products that are manufactured offsite and assembled on major projects across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing
Working within our Reinforced Concrete (RC) Modelling Team, you'll help create the digital models and manufacturing information that bring our precast solutions to life.
You'll
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using Tekla Structures, Revit and other digital engineering tools.
- Convert structural designs into practical, buildable and manufacturable solutions.
- Collaborate with structural engineers, production teams and DfMA specialists to ensure designs are efficient and ready for manufacture.
- Support innovation, product development and low-carbon construction solutions.
- Contribute to design reviews, tender studies and value-engineering initiatives.
- Manage and maintain design information within Common Data Environments (CDEs).
- Help drive continuous improvement in digital design, quality and manufacturing processes.

What we're looking for
We'd Love To Hear From You If You Have
- Experience with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Revit or similar CAD/BIM software.
- An interest in reinforced concrete, structural detailing or digital engineering.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality technical information.
- A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in precast concrete, reinforced concrete detailing or manufacturing environments, although this is not essential.
- A qualification in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
