Reinstatement Supervisor | Kidlington, OX5 1QT

Full Time | £55,000 - £61,000 per annum + Company Vehicle

Are you an experienced utilities supervisor looking for your next challenge?

Our client is a well-established specialist within the reinstatement and surfacing sector, delivering high-quality works across the South of England. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Reinstatement Supervisor to join their operational team based in Kidlington.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with utilities experience who enjoys leading teams, driving performance, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supervisor to take ownership of a busy operational area, leading teams in the field while supporting office-based planning and coordination. You'll be responsible for driving performance, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and ensuring works are delivered efficiently from start to finish.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday working pattern (hours 6am- 4pm)
  • Excellent overtime opportunities
  • Participation in a standby rota required

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operational teams and subcontractors to maximise productivity and performance
  • Work closely with the planning team to ensure works are delivered efficiently and avoid overruns
  • Conduct team audits and performance reviews
  • Support transport operations and vehicle compliance requirements
  • Arrange and oversee vehicle inspections and defect reporting
  • Manage the issue of tools, equipment, workwear, mobile phones, and other operational assets
  • Monitor consumables and health & safety stock levels
  • Oversee attendance, timesheets, and operational trackers
  • Support wage and payroll queries in conjunction with the commercial team
  • Undertake additional operational duties as required

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience within the utilities sector
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operational environment

Desirable

  • Streetworks, Confined Space, or other industry-related qualifications
  • Previous experience supervising operational field teams
