We are seeking a talented individual to join our Caribbean Property Reinsurance (Facultative) team at Marsh Re. This role will be based in London.

We are hiring individuals with experience in Caribbean Property Reinsurance to join our growing Caribbean team, being developed in partnership with our colleagues in Marsh Re (Miami). This role will focus on helping shape and deliver the Caribbean Property Facultative Reinsurance product line, supporting strategic growth planning and sales and placement initiatives in collaboration with local offices and key stakeholders, as appropriate.

  • Assist in overseeing facultative placement activity, leading complex and/or large client enquiries to ensure optimal solutions are delivered.
  • Review exposures and loss experience, analyse risk, determine coverage and service requirements, and develop placement/broking plans aligned to client needs (including obtaining approvals).
  • Negotiate and evaluate quotes, present clear recommendations, support client/prospect meetings, and communicate placement strategy and outcomes effectively to brokers, clients, and carrier partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
