Description:
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative individual to join our Marine, Energy & Technical Lines team at Marsh Re. This is an opportunity to grow technical expertise, build strong market relationships, and contribute to the delivery of tailored reinsurance solutions for clients.
As a Broker, you will support medium to large client transactions and work closely with colleagues and market partners to help deliver high-quality solutions. You will use your technical knowledge, curiosity, and relationship-building skills to support client service, placement strategy, and business development.
We will count on you to:
- Support client interactions and help ensure clear, timely communication and service delivery.
- Review and analyse risk information to help develop practical, creative approaches to client needs.
- Contribute to the team’s knowledge sharing and internal communication.
- Build productive relationships with insurers, reinsurers, clients, and colleagues.
- Develop your understanding of coverage lines, market conditions, and emerging risks.
- Support new business opportunities, client program design, and relationship-building activities.
- Assist with revenue and budget planning alongside the management team.
- Help respond to client queries and follow through to resolution.
What you need to have:
- Experience supporting Marine and/or Energy business within the insurance or reinsurance market.
- A good understanding of how to support client solutions and market placements.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, results-focused approach and willingness to learn.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as economics, engineering, risk management, or finance. Professional qualifications such as Cert CII, Dip CII, or ACII would be an advantage.
