The Opportunity
Join a high-performing reinsurance claims team responsible for handling complex treaty claims, supporting business initiatives, catastrophe reviews, reserving activities and market relationships.
Technical Skills
- Reinsurance claims handling and administration
- Inward treaty reinsurance claims handling
- Property, Casualty and Specialty Treaty claims knowledge
- Complex claims management and resolution
- Coverage analysis and policy interpretation
- Coverage eligibility assessment
- Reserving and financial exposure assessment
- Claims reserving and risk flag management
- Large loss and catastrophe claims management
- Catastrophe loss review and analysis
- Claims investigation and evaluation
- Claims payment and settlement calculations
- Authority-based claims decision making and referral management
- Portfolio and claims trend analysis
- Reporting, documentation and data interpretation
- Operational workflow management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Expertise
- ACII, CPCU, ARe, AIC or equivalent professional qualification
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Letters of Credit (LOCs) and collateral management
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar analytics tools
- Experience supporting claims projects and business initiatives
- Process improvement and operational transformation experience
- Exposure to catastrophe modelling and large-loss reviews
- Experience within Lloyd’s and international reinsurance markets
