Reinsurance Pricing Specialist - Property Treaty (Actuarial qualification not required)
Location: London/Midlands
Working Model: Hybrid (2 days per week)
Valayo are partnering with a leading Lloyd’s (re)insurer looking to hire a Reinsurance Pricing Specialist into its high-performing Property Treaty team. Actuarial qualification is not required.
Role Focus
The role focuses on Property Treaty Reinsurance across QS, CAT XL, and Risk XL, with exposure to business written across both the UK and North America.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced underwriters across both individual deal and portfolio pricing.
- Contribute to underwriting decisions and help shape pricing strategy.
- Perform portfolio and segment analysis.
- Monitor performance.
- Develop pricing models (HX).
- Improve pricing methodologies and processes.
Requirements
- Reinsurance pricing experience.
- Ideally, some exposure to Property during your career.
- Flexible on actuarial qualification; could be FIA, part-qualified, or not having pursued the exams.
