About Us

Since 2004, we’ve been bringing investment ideas to life and connecting capital with the right people and opportunities. Today, we manage more than £2.5 billion for a broad range of investors across five key investment strategies: Private Credit, Social Housing, Clean Heat, Energy, and Venture. These strategies underpin the innovative range of investments we offer to both private (retail) and institutional clients.

There are 230+ employees at Triple Point, all committed to leaving the world demonstrably better than we found it. That’s why we’re a certified B Corp, signed up to the Principles for Responsible Investment, and were named a Sunday Times 'Best Place to Work 2025 & 2026'.

If this sounds like an environment where you would flourish, then read on…

The Function & Team

The Relationship Services team is Triple Point Private Credit's SME Portfolio team. The team manages borrower relationships across SME Debt Finance, Specialty Finance, and Fund Finance, ensuring strong portfolio performance, assessing in-life credit events, and supporting high-quality client outcomes.

Role Purpose

The Relationship Director (RD) leads some of the team’s most complex and high-value SME borrower relationships, with a particular focus on sponsor-backed leveraged and acquisition finance. The role carries significant autonomy, requiring mature credit judgement, strong relationship leadership, and the ability to structure and execute sophisticated transactions that support strong portfolio outcomes and commercial value creation.

The RD also plays a critical leadership role within the team coaching junior colleagues, shaping best practice, and deputising for the Head of Relationship Services where required.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Relationship Leadership

  • Own, lead, and strategically manage a portfolio of high-value, complex borrowers, focusing on sponsor-backed leveraged/acquisition finance.
  • Maintain regular, senior-level communication with borrowers, sponsors, advisers, and management teams to strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new clients (in partnership with Origination), and ensure smooth handover of deteriorating credits to Restructuring.

Risk, Compliance & Monitoring

  • Take full accountability for portfolio compliance: MI receipt, covenant testing, reporting accuracy, escalation, and early identification of risks.
  • Monitor acquisition facilities, including reviewing pipeline acquisitions, assessing covenant headroom, and approving/declining draw requests.
  • Review management information, interrogate financial performance, and update senior stakeholders as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
