We are seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Relationship Management Support professional to join our UK Client Group team. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to the Relationship Management function, helping to deliver an exceptional experience for RLAM's professional clients and prospects.
Working closely with Relationship Managers and sales colleagues, you will build strong client relationships, identify opportunities to promote RLAM's investment proposition, and contribute to client retention and business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware individual who enjoys engaging with clients, supporting business development activity, and representing the organisation at client meetings and industry events.
About The Role
- Support the Relationship Management team in achieving sales distribution targets through proactive client engagement and high-quality relationship support.
- Build and develop strong relationships with existing clients and key contacts, while identifying and nurturing opportunities within prospective firms.
- Act as a key point of contact for client queries, delivering accurate, timely, and professional responses via telephone and email.
- Develop a detailed understanding of client needs, providing a personalised service that enhances client satisfaction and supports retention.
- Promote RLAM's products and investment capabilities by building knowledge across asset classes, funds, and the wider market landscape.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to coordinate client activity, support meetings and events, and ensure a seamless experience for clients and prospects.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and client information, ensuring all administrative tasks, client communications, regulatory training, and service commitments are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.

About You
- Preferably IMC qualified or willing to complete the IMC within 6 months of starting
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Ability and desire to interact with clients and build strong relationships with new and existing contacts
- Someone who can demonstrate competence and professionalism when dealing with clients.
- Being a team player. Share best practice and be open to learning and improving in the role
- Strong work ethic and taking responsibility and being accountable for the work they produce.
- Strong organisational skills, working to tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail
