The Relationship Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Birmingham, with flexibility for some work from home. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and growing long-term relationships with SME clients using SWITCH&SAVE EPOS solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include proactively engaging with existing and prospective customers, understanding their business needs, and recommending appropriate EPOS, payment, and technology solutions. The Relationship Manager will manage a portfolio of accounts, handle queries, coordinate with technical and support teams, and ensure smooth onboarding, training, and ongoing service. The role also involves monitoring client satisfaction, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, preparing proposals, and providing regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management, account management, and customer service skills, with a focus on SME and retail/hospitality sectors.
- Experience in sales, business development, or consultative selling, ideally within EPOS, payments, or business technology solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear, accessible terms.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including managing pipelines, prioritizing tasks, and working effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems, and the ability to quickly learn EPOS, payment, and connectivity products.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset, with a focus on delivering measurable value and service quality.
- Prior experience in the UK payments, EPOS, or hospitality/retail technology industries is beneficial.
- Valid right to work in the UK and availability to travel to client sites in and around Birmingham as needed.
