Job Summary
The Local Land Charges Programme has established a Service Performance and Integration (SPI) team which plays a key role in supporting all the authorities which originate local land charges, including local authorities which have migrated their own registers to HM Land Registry. The team also support the individuals and organisations that conduct searches of the register.
As a member of the SPI Team, you will develop relationships with and support the many different users of the service including local authorities, other originating authorities, and search service customers.
You will respond to enquiries and resolve varied live service issues, collaborating with colleagues in the Programme and other areas of HM Land Registry where necessary.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team who will be supporting the ongoing monitoring and integrity of the live local land charges service. You will be able to develop your skills and knowledge in customer engagement and data analysis; and deliver useful insights to the development teams to feed into product enhancement and continuous improvement.

Job Description
- Liaise with search service customers and the CSC to manage Local Land Charges calls and correspondence, including queries and complaints
- Provide training in using the local land charges online interface, and ongoing support to a range of external stakeholders around the country
- Build and maintain relationships with originating authorities, encouraging best practice in registration activity to both new and existing users
- Monitor the integrity of the data in the LLC Register, identifying changes in patterns of registration activity, and potential causes for concern
- Take ownership of live service issues, maintaining appropriate issue logs, liaising with colleagues, subject matter experts and escalating where necessary to resolve the issue
- Support product managers, business analysts and user researchers in provisioning user feedback, identifying pain points in the service and supporting continuous improvement of the same
- Process applications for registration of light obstruction notices and Compulsory Purchase Orders.
Person specification
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Practical experience in external customer engagement and / or account management.
- Proven ability to deal with customer queries and resolve issues.
- Proven ability to constructively challenge practice or process and deliver improvements.
- Proven ability to manage time sensitive tasks and prioritise accordingly.
The role may require occasional travel to other HM Land Registry offices, originating authorities and attendance at external events, including over-night stays.

Salary and Benefits

Selection process details
