Relationship Manager – Business, Creative & Digital

Salary
Salary on appointment will be £48,822 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £56,535 per annum (pro rata).
About the Role
UEA’s Research and Innovation Service (RIN) are looking to recruit a highly motivated Relationship Manager to develop existing and instigate new opportunities for partnerships with key sectors. The post will help deliver increases in the levels of knowledge exchange, impact, innovation, and engagement within the target areas of Business, Creative & Digital.
Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Work closely and collaboratively with academics primarily but not exclusively in the faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences, developing links between schools and disciplines, facilitating growth in research and knowledge exchange and identify opportunities for students and graduate careers.
- Develop strong external networks, matching the University’s strengths with external partners’ needs while demonstrating the ability to work effectively with academic staff and external organisations.
- Have a good knowledge of current challenges in the sector, UEA’s associated research themes, and an understanding of the ways in which external organisations engage with universities.
- Identify and represent the UEA on various external related groups and boards pertinent to the breadth of Business, Creative & Digital.

Requirements
- You must have a relevant degree or have equivalent level of experience in the sector.
- Applicants will be expected to satisfy all essential criteria outlined in the person specification within the candidate brochure.

Job Details
- The post is available from 4 January 2027 on a part-time (0.6 FTE) basis for a fixed-term period of up to 12 months.
- This temporary post is available to cover for the absence of the postholder on maternity or adoption leave.
