We support clients and transaction parties through structured coordination, accurate information flows and disciplined execution throughout the lifecycle of a mandate.

Role Overview

Fidostra is seeking a Relationship Manager to manage institutional client relationships and support the delivery of loan agency mandates and financing transactions.

The role combines client coverage, mandate coordination and oversight of transaction administration. You will act as a principal point of contact for clients, borrowers, lenders, sponsors, legal advisers and other transaction parties, ensuring that client requirements are understood, responsibilities are clearly allocated and agreed services are delivered consistently.

This is a client-facing and execution-focused position requiring sound judgement, commercial awareness and a strong understanding of loan agency services and institutional financing transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with institutional clients, borrowers, lenders, sponsors, advisers and referral sources.
  • Act as a principal point of contact for assigned client relationships and loan agency mandates.
  • Develop a clear understanding of each financing structure, the transaction parties and Fidostra’s responsibilities under the relevant finance documents.
  • Coordinate the onboarding, mandate acceptance and establishment of new client relationships and transactions.
  • Work closely with Transaction Managers and Client Administrators to support accurate and timely service delivery.
  • Monitor the progress of live mandates, significant transaction events, outstanding deliverables and client requests.
  • Participate in mandate discussions, transaction calls, financial closings and client meetings.
  • Review proposed role descriptions, transaction structures and relevant finance-document provisions to identify operational requirements.
  • Support the preparation of mandate proposals, engagement materials, service descriptions and onboarding information.
  • Coordinate responses to client enquiries, operational issues and matters requiring escalation.
  • Maintain clear communication with borrowers, lenders, legal advisers and other transaction parties throughout the financing lifecycle.
  • Support amendment, waiver, consent, refinancing, restructuring and successor agency processes where applicable.
  • Monitor service quality, obtain client feedback and identify opportunities to improve the client experience.
  • Identify potential new mandates and additional relevant services arising from existing client and market relationships.
  • Maintain accurate client, contact, mandate and relationship records.
  • Support client onboarding, KYC reviews, conflict-management processes and other mandate-acceptance requirements.
  • Represent Fidostra professionally at client meetings, industry events and relevant market discussions.
  • Handle confidential and transaction-sensitive information in accordance with applicable data-protection and information-security requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
