Relationship Manager

London | Permanent | Hybrid | Up to £65,000 + Benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Relationship Manager to join a growing international financial services firm.

Based in London, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing UK Financial Intermediary clients, while proactively identifying opportunities to grow and expand those relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Wealth Management, Platforms or Financial Services who is looking to combine relationship management with a strong commercial and business development focus.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with a portfolio of UK Financial Intermediary clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
  • Work closely with internal departments to coordinate service delivery and resolve client requirements effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to develop and expand existing client relationships and support the execution of growth plans.
  • Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities across investment solutions, including funds, managed portfolios and bespoke solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with investment specialists and other internal teams to develop and close commercial opportunities.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the firm's wealth platform, including its operational and systems capabilities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the firm's investment solutions and broader proposition.
  • Contribute to identifying and defining enhancements to the wealth platform to ensure it remains competitive and relevant to the market.
  • Support marketing and business development activity, including industry conferences, promotional opportunities and client-facing initiatives.
  • Work closely with senior management to support the continued development and growth of the UK Financial Intermediary business.
  • Participate in regular relationship management, pipeline and business strategy meetings.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ideally 2+ years' experience in Relationship Management or a similar position within Wealth Management, Platforms or Financial Services.
  • A strong commercial mindset and an ability to identify and pursue sales and growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build strong and trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise effectively against deadlines.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
  • Experience participating in commercial and pricing discussions would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Copilot.
