Relationship Team Lead - Strategic Network Partnership
What is Flagstone?
Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.
Each definition shares a common thread: their unique culture. It’s their pride and joy. And their competitive advantage.
Our Culture
To revolutionise the savings market, high performance takes more than talent – it requires a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.
That’s why Flagstone is building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where support and room to develop allow you to surpass your own expectations, all with rewarded outcomes.
Flagstone believes they won’t change the world, but they can change financial technology’s world. It takes a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy – a culture that celebrates all three.
The Role: Relationships Team Lead
Flagstone is the UK’s leading cash platform, with £19bn in Assets under Administration and plans to reach £50bn by 2028. This role leads the team responsible for maximising their relationship with one of the UK’s largest national wealth networks – a partnership critical to Flagstone’s future growth.
About the Relationships Team Lead Position
The Relationships Team Lead oversees a team of four field-based Account Relationship Managers (ARMs), each responsible for a defined territory within the partner network, but this role goes beyond management.
This position demands a player-manager – someone who actively engages the partner network while simultaneously inspiring and leading their team to outstanding performance. Your role balances personal stakeholder engagement with the ** lifted performance of your team**. You must enjoy leading and delivering results just as much as growing your own pipeline.
The partner network spans 5,000+ Partners across four regions, with half having already referred clients to Flagstone in the past year. This opportunity focuses on deepening existing engagement, increasing referral frequency, and embedding Flagstone as the default for Partners when advising clients. You also play a key role in representing Flagstone strategically, as the senior, day-to-day face of the partnership.
What You’ll Be Doing
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, develop, and motivate four field-based ARMs, while setting clear, achievable expectations, providing regular coaching, and fostering high performance for each individual.
- Own and monitor team performance, monitoring referral volumes, Partner engagement levels, and conversion activity, intervening proactively as needed.
- Establish a consistent team rhythm, comprised of one-to-ones, joint field visits, call reviews, and performance sessions, ensuring accountability and continual improvement.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and long-term development of ARMs, ensuring a capable and culturally-aligned team to sustain high performance as the partnership grows.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for the team when complex Partner situations or objections arise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
