About the Role
You are a leader who can motivate, guide, and empower your team to deliver exceptional results. You will work in a fast-paced and often challenging environment; therefore, you must be confident in your verbal and written communication across the organization, with clients, and at all levels of leadership. You will be accountable for operational excellence, service delivery, team performance, and client satisfaction across the Relativity Operations function while driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management, prioritization, and execution of work performed by the Relativity Operations team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Lead the successful delivery of Relativity administrative, data management, workspace management, processing, production, and review support services while meeting client commitments and internal service-level expectations.
- Ensure operational deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Develop, coach, mentor, and performance-manage team members, creating growth opportunities and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Manage team capacity, resource allocation, scheduling, and workload balancing to meet changing business demands and delivery priorities.
- Drive the continuous improvement of eDiscovery workflows, Relativity operating procedures, automation opportunities, and best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Implement and ensure compliance with organizational policies, new technologies, operational directives, security standards, and workflow enhancements established by senior leadership.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), service metrics, quality benchmarks, utilization targets, and operational performance trends.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for operational, technical, client service, and delivery issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication to stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Fulfillment, Forensics, Project Management, IT, Information Security, Development, Client Services, and Sales teams to support successful client outcomes and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely timekeeping, activity tracking, utilization reporting, and billing compliance for all direct reports.
- Support client engagements through consultation, solution design, workflow recommendations, and operational guidance related to Relativity and eDiscovery services.
- Work closely with Lineal development, product, and support teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, product enhancement, and technology innovation.
- Promote and enforce company standards, quality expectations, documentation requirements, and operational best practices throughout the delivery organization.
- Contribute to departmental planning, budgeting, workforce development, and strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and long-term objectives.
- Design, establish, and reinforce operational policies and practices that support Lineal’s culture, vision, and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Position Requirements

- 6+ years of experience in eDiscovery, legal technology, or digital forensics, with a demonstrated record of delivering high-quality client services and operational excellence.
- 3+ years of experience leading, managing, and developing technical or operational teams in a service delivery environment.
- Extensive knowledge of the EDRM, eDiscovery workflows, industry best practices, and data governance principles.
- Advanced experience administering and supporting the Relativity platform, including workspace management, permissions, processing, productions, analytics, and user support.
- Experience managing operational performance through metrics, reporting, quality assurance programs, and service-level objectives.
- Proven ability to lead teams through organizational change, process improvements, and technology adoption initiatives.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience, with relevant certifications such as RCA, CEDS, EnCE, or other industry-recognized credentials preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with technical teams, clients, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence across both departmental and cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, influence, and develop high-performing teams.
- Ability to challenge existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive meaningful organizational change.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, lead strategic initiatives, and thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
