The Role
As a Relief Chef, you will play a key role across multiple venues, stepping in to support kitchens when required, whether covering holidays, supporting new openings, stabilising teams, or helping drive standards during busy trading periods.
This is a role for a confident, highly capable chef who can quickly understand a kitchen operation, support teams effectively and ensure consistent delivery of Buzzworks food standards.
You will bring experience, structure and calm leadership to every kitchen you support.
You Will
- Support kitchen teams to deliver exceptional standards during service
- Maintain food quality, presentation and consistency across menus
- Support strong GP performance, stock control and labour management
- Stabilise and motivate teams during periods of transition or peak trading
- Mentor and support chefs at every level
- Ensure kitchens remain safe, compliant and well organised
- Work closely with venue leadership teams to maintain Buzzworks standards

We’re Looking For Chefs Who Are
- Experienced at Sous Chef level
- Confident stepping into new kitchens and leading teams quickly
- Calm, organised and strong under pressure
- Commercially aware and comfortable managing GP and kitchen performance
- Passionate about food quality, consistency and developing people
