The Role

As a Relief Chef, you will play a key role across multiple venues, stepping in to support kitchens when required, whether covering holidays, supporting new openings, stabilising teams, or helping drive standards during busy trading periods.

This is a role for a confident, highly capable chef who can quickly understand a kitchen operation, support teams effectively and ensure consistent delivery of Buzzworks food standards.

You will bring experience, structure and calm leadership to every kitchen you support.

You Will

  • Support kitchen teams to deliver exceptional standards during service
  • Maintain food quality, presentation and consistency across menus
  • Support strong GP performance, stock control and labour management
  • Stabilise and motivate teams during periods of transition or peak trading
  • Mentor and support chefs at every level
  • Ensure kitchens remain safe, compliant and well organised
  • Work closely with venue leadership teams to maintain Buzzworks standards

We’re Looking For Chefs Who Are

  • Experienced at Sous Chef level
  • Confident stepping into new kitchens and leading teams quickly
  • Calm, organised and strong under pressure
  • Commercially aware and comfortable managing GP and kitchen performance
  • Passionate about food quality, consistency and developing people
