Salary: £36,000 per annum

Location: Cambridge & Surrounding areas

Shift Pattern: Predominantly Monday-Friday with occasional weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide relief management and culinary support across multiple contracts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and continuity of service.
• Manage sites ranging from 100 to 400 covers per day, adapting quickly to different environments, teams, and client expectations.
• Step into Chef Manager positions when required, taking full responsibility for site performance.
• Maintain high food quality, presentation, and freshness standards across all locations, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Oversee ordering, stock control, stock takes, and financial administration, including closing books and maintaining accurate records.
• Plan and develop seasonal menus, introducing fresh, innovative, and commercially successful food offers.
• Develop and enhance contract food propositions, improving counter displays, food presentation, and customer engagement.
• Introduce new food concepts and menu rotations across contracts to keep offers exciting, relevant, and on trend.
• Support sites with pop-up events, themed food days, hospitality functions, and promotional activities.
• Ensure all due diligence processes are completed and maintained, including food safety, HACCP, health & safety, and company compliance standards.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and site teams, providing operational support and sharing best practice across locations.
• Drive sales and customer satisfaction through creative food offers, excellent service standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, motivate, and support site teams during periods of cover, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement are maintained.
