About The Role

We are looking for a versatile and reliable General Maintenance Person to join our team on a relief basis.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, highly motivated, and passionate about making a positive difference in young people’s lives.

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving our services across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive environment where no two days are the same, offering a variety of tasks, challenges, and opportunities to develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out painting and decorating, including preparation and repair work
  • Undertake minor plumbing tasks
  • Repair fixtures, fittings, furniture, and equipment
  • Complete basic glazing repairs
  • Perform carpentry work, including hanging doors and fitting door frames
  • Install plasterboard and carry out plastering work
  • Change locks as required
  • Lay flooring
  • Assist with furniture moves
  • Support fundraising builds and special projects

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

The first interview will be a Safe Care/Warner style interview, followed by a formal interview if successful. An enhanced DBS check is required for the role. This will be funded by Break.
