Position: Relief Pharmacy Manager (Full-Time/Part-Time Permanent opportunities available)

Based in Banbridge / Rathfriland and Surrounding Areas

Gordons Chemists is Northern Ireland's largest Independent Pharmacy Chain, with 55 stores throughout Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified pharmacist or those seeking to develop their career further to join a well-established leading Pharmacy Chain, working with experienced teams within busy dispensary and retail environments.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Pharmacist / Newly Qualified 2025 pharmacist
  • Registered with PSNI (Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland)
  • Degree in Pharmacy BPharm or MPharm
  • Proficient in pharmacy computer systems and Microsoft applications
  • An up to date knowledge of changes within pharmacy and pharmacy services
  • Proactive in delivering available professional services, SPPG-commissioned and private.
  • Enthusiastic with excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service and patient care
  • Flexible attitude
  • Eligibility to work in UK

Desirable Requirements:

  • Previous experience within community pharmacy
  • Proficient in pharmacy computer systems (McLernons System)

Locations:

This role will be based primarily in the Banbridge / Rathfriland and Surrounding Areas. The successful applicant will routinely work in a number of stores in this geographical area, however must be flexible to work outside this area if required.

Other Information:

This is a permanent position suitable for those seeking either Full Time or Part Time hours. Applicants must be available to work Monday to Saturday as required as per Pharmacy rota. The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive salary and benefits package including: pension, PSNI paid fees, 25 days holiday plus statutory days and 20% staff discount.
