Temporary Contract - Thursday to Sunday, 4:00pm to Midnight

Location: Richmond and surrounding areas within South East London

Rate: £14.04 per hour

Shift Pattern: Part-time - Thursday to Sunday, 4:00pm-12:00am

Essential Requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence
  • Full clean UK Driving Licence - Essential
  • Comfortable and confident driving a 12-seater van
  • Must have a hospitality, concierge, hotel, reception or customer service background
  • Must have access to their own personal vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS - desirable
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Professional, welcoming and well-presented approach
  • Observant, proactive and confident security mindset
  • Basic IT literacy, including email, reporting systems and standard office applications
  • Comfortable carrying out front-of-house and general office support duties

About the Role

As a Relief Security Concierge, you will provide a professional combination of security, customer service and front-of-house support across client locations.

You will often be the first point of contact for visitors, employees and contractors, so the ability to create a welcoming first impression while maintaining strong security standards is essential.

This role is ideally suited to someone who has worked within hospitality, hotels, concierge, reception or premium customer-facing environments and is comfortable balancing security responsibilities with front-of-house service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional meet-and-greet service to visitors, staff and contractors
  • Deliver excellent front-of-house customer service while maintaining site security
  • Manage access control and visitor procedures
  • Conduct internal and external security patrols
  • Monitor the site and respond appropriately to incidents or concerns
  • Maintain accurate security and incident reports
  • Answer and manage telephone enquiries professionally
  • Provide directory and visitor support, including assisting with locations, departments and points of contact
  • Carry out general reception and office support duties where required
  • Liaise professionally with clients, employees, visitors and contractors
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation at all times
  • Drive a 12-seater vehicle when required as part of the role
  • Support multiple client locations as part of the relief function
  • Follow all site Assignment Instructions, operating procedures and health and safety requirements

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines the awareness and professionalism of a security officer with the personality and service standards of an experienced hospitality professional.

You should be confident engaging with people from all backgrounds, comfortable working independently and able to adapt quickly between different client environments.
