Job Description
🔐 Relief Security Officer – Brough (HU15 1EQ) 🔐
💷 £14.56 per hour | ⏰ 12-hour Shifts| Contracted 42 hours | Days, Nights & Weekends
🚘 Must have a valid UK Driving Licence
⏰ Shift Times:
- Days: 06:30 – 18:30
- Nights: 18:30 – 06:30

💼 About the Role:
As a Security Officer in this vital position, you’ll be the first line of defence for a key site in Brough. Your presence alone helps ensure staff, visitors, and assets are kept safe at all times. One moment you may be conducting a perimeter patrol, the next responding to an access control alert or assisting with an emergency drill. This isn’t just about locking doors—it’s about being alert, observant, and confident under pressure. You’ll be part of a professional team trusted to maintain a secure, calm, and safe environment.
🧾 Key Responsibilities:
- 🔎 Carry out regular site patrols and perimeter checks
- 📝 Record and report incidents clearly and accurately
- 🚪 Monitor and manage site access points
- 🎥 Operate and monitor CCTV systems effectively
- 🚨 Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents
- 🤝 Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency services
- 📋 Follow all client-specific protocols and security procedures

Qualifications
🛑 Essential Requirements:
- ✅ Valid SIA Licence
- ✅ Valid UK Driving Licence
- ✅ 5-year checkable work history
- ✅ Born British National or held a British passport for at least 5 years
- ✅ Able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
- ✅ Strong communication and observation skills
- ✅ Smart, reliable, and proactive approach
