Relief Officer Role
Location: Norwich
Working Hours: 12-hour shifts, day and night, Monday-Sunday, including covering annual leave and last-minute blowouts.
Requirements:
- Live within 30 minutes of Norwich
- Full UK driving licence
- Over the age of 21
- Own vehicle for commuting
Role Description:
The role involves patrolling a large multistorey building, requiring plenty of walking and standing. Potential for additional work in Norwich and Lowestoft.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly professional and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our client's people, property, and critical assets. The role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, safety, and continuity of operations while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and corporate standards.
The successful candidate will consistently deliver service excellence and understand their purpose and care about the assets the role is protecting, including the client's reputation and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Security & Risk Management
- Maintain vigilance over the work environment to identify potential threats, disruptions, or breaches.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, escalating to appropriate authorities or teams as required.
- Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, supporting robust governance and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate composure and professionalism when handling challenging situations, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and data.
- Adhere to scheduled check-ins and communication protocols to maintain operational integrity.
