Job Description: Relief Support Workers
We are looking for Relief Support Workers to join our small, friendly existing team working at one of our 24-hour supported living services for seven adults with learning disabilities, severe complex needs, autism, forensic, and mental health support needs. Each individual lives in a one-bedroomed furnished flat in the beautiful conservation area of Stanwix in Carlisle (the project is easily accessible on public transport).
Responsibilities
- Provide positive support to individuals to enable them to participate in community activities.
- Work with and develop a personal support plan that addresses individual specific needs.
- Help service users to develop domestic, financial, and emotional management, and achieve greater independence and self-esteem.
- Actively liaise with statutory, voluntary agencies, and advocates/family members.

Requirements
- Dedicated, flexible, and responsive individuals to provide personalized support in line with the principles of recovery.
- Highly motivated individuals with a positive outlook.
- Ability to engage and motivate individuals to participate in a range of activities.
- Keen insight into the challenges that our clients face on a daily basis and awareness of the delivery of supported living care.
- Prior support-related experience of at least twelve months is essential.
- Ability to work flexible shifts on a relief basis.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
