We are seeking experienced, calm, and resourceful relief support workers for the Durham region
You will provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, helping them achieve personal development.
Key skills include:
- Positive communication
- Engagement
- Unconditional positive regard for the people we support
You should be confident in working within a positive behaviour support framework, accepting responsibility, and developing as a skilled practitioner.
Responsibilities include:
- Building trusting relationships
- Supporting a range of activities
- Ensuring physical well-being
- Addressing frustrations
Experience with learning disabilities and complex needs is essential.
