About the Role
Working as a Support Worker means no two days are ever the same. It's a varied, hands-on role where you'll have the chance to make a real and lasting difference in someone's life — every single day.
You'll be part of a warm, welcoming team at our registered support service in Market Weighton, just outside the town centre. This is more than just a workplace — it's a supportive environment where kindness, respect, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.

Shift Patterns
This role involves a flexible rota, which can look like:
- Day shifts
- Night shifts
- Weekend working
- Sleeps
As a Support Worker, You Will
- Support individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Assist with managing finances, medication, and appointments
- Encourage participation in social and community activities
- Promote independence and support individuals to achieve their personal goals
- Build meaningful, trusting relationships and provide emotional support
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with complex needs
About the People You'll Support
The gentlemen who live in the services enjoy taking part in a wide range of meaningful activities both at home and in the local community. They enjoy getting creative with arts and crafts, being supported with cooking meals, and taking pride in keeping their home clean and tidy.
When out and about, they love activities such as swimming, bowling, meals out, and cinema trips. As part of the role, you'll support them to maintain a healthy lifestyle by helping with meal choices, health appointments, and medication.
