Contract Type: Day-to-day supply and long-term, immediate start
About the Role
Religious Studies teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5 at a secondary school in Maidenhead. £200 to £260 per day, immediate start, with the potential to extend.
We are recruiting a qualified Religious Studies teacher for a school in Maidenhead, covering Key Stage 3 through to A-level. The role involves both teaching and planning, and there is scope for it to continue beyond the initial period. Humanities teachers with recent experience of teaching RS are also welcome to apply.
This school runs a longer day than most — 8:30am to 5:00pm, and 3:45pm on Fridays — and the rate reflects that.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
