Interim Relocation Manager - London

£450-£500 per day
North West London
Hybrid working

Panoramic Associates is working with a London Borough Council to appoint an experienced Relocation Manager within its Corporate Property team.

The successful candidate will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of corporate relocations, office moves, service decants and workplace reconfigurations across the Council's operational estate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading office relocations, decants and workplace-change projects
  • Producing CAD floor plans, workplace layouts and move scenarios
  • Undertaking space-utilisation and occupancy analysis
  • Coordinating FM, IT, Security, contractors and operational teams
  • Procuring and managing removals and storage contractors
  • Managing multiple projects, deadlines, risks and competing priorities
  • Maintaining accurate workplace, accommodation and inventory records
  • Ensuring moves are delivered safely and with minimal operational disruption

Essential criteria:

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in Facilities Management or Logistics Management
  • Membership of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM)
  • Significant workplace-planning and relocation-management experience
  • Strong AutoCAD and space-planning capabilities
  • Experience managing external removals or logistics contractors
  • The ability to manage multiple move projects simultaneously

Previous local authority or wider public-sector experience would be highly beneficial.

The role will involve travel between sites across the borough, with occasional evening or weekend work required to support operational moves.
