KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Risk Consulting Advisory Services Team within the Advisory Function.

Job Responsibilities

As a Manager in the Risk Consulting Advisory Services Team, you will:

  • Drive and lead the day-to-day execution of multiple GRC engagements, with accountability for delivery quality, timelines, and commercial performance.
  • Lead and manage engagements across areas such as Board and Executive Governance, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Regulatory Compliance, Process Design and Optimisation, and Internal Audit, including the assessment, design, and enhancement of end-to-end business processes and related control frameworks.
  • Supervise, coach and review the work performed by other members within the team.
  • Advise engagement leaders of progress on the job and any developments that may lead to a change of plan.
  • Ensuring timely completion of assigned engagement phases. Organise tasks to meet deadlines and rearrange based on changes to team and business priorities.
  • Present results and recommendations to leaders and to client management and ensure the preparation of clear and concise audit reports, including the review of the work of more junior staff members.
  • Establish your relevant knowledge through sharing and participation in the continual development and publication of thought leadership and service offerings.
  • Ensure collaboration with firm-wide subject matter experts for the effective execution of engagements, as applicable.
  • Use knowledge of the firm’s offering and an awareness of market trends to actively generate new business opportunities in these sectors.
  • Take responsibility for own development and actively coach, mentor and share expertise with team members; and,
  • Develop and maintain a positive, productive, collaborative professional relationship with the client and engagement managers to provide well-coordinated and consistent high-performance results.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in GRC.
  • University degree in risk management, regulatory, accountancy, business administration, or similar.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GRC frameworks, business processes and internal controls, including practical application of ERM, internal audit, and regulatory compliance requirements under Malta and EU regulatory frameworks.
  • Working on own initiative and in a team, with a proactive approach.
  • A superb team player with excellent communication and analytical skills, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Willingness to pursue relevant qualifications.
