About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Remedial Quotations Co-Ordinator & Stores Controller to join our busy Service Department.
This is a varied office-based role combining remedial quotations, purchasing, stock control and stores management. You will be responsible for producing accurate remedial quotations from engineers’ reports, purchasing materials, preparing jobs for engineers, booking approved remedial works and ensuring our warehouse and engineers’ van stock is effectively managed.
Working closely with our engineers, suppliers and service team, you will help ensure remedial works are processed efficiently from quotation through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate remedial quotations from engineers’ reports and recommendations.
- Identify the equipment and materials required for remedial works.
- Source competitive pricing from suppliers.
- Purchase equipment and materials for approved remedial works.
- Book approved remedial works into the service schedule.
- Prepare and kit equipment ready for engineers before attending site.
- Manage warehouse stock levels and replenish inventory as required.
- Carry out regular stock takes and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Manage engineers’ van stock, ensuring vehicles remain appropriately stocked.
- Maintain accurate stock records using the company management system.
- Liaise with engineers and suppliers regarding parts availability and lead times.
- Ensure the stores area remains organised, accurate and efficient.
- Provide general administrative support to the Service Department where required.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and business management software.
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Previous experience within the fire and security industry (preferred but not essential).
- Experience in quotations, purchasing, stock control or stores management.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
