Salary: Competitive + Car Allowance + Annual Bonus
Grade: 6.2
Location: Hybrid with regular travel to Bolton required, this role will also require further travel across the UK.

What you'll be doing:
- A subject matter expert in the field of contaminated land remediation, in particular on industrial and COMAH sites.
- Provide customers with advice, guidance and support on how to undertake contaminated land remediation projects to provide them with the end result that they are targeting.
- Manage environmental site assessments, including Phase I and Phase II investigations, sampling programmes and interpretation of findings.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies and plans, using your technical expertise to address complex soil and groundwater contamination.
- Lead the design of contaminated land remediation solutions to achieve the outcomes required by customers and environmental standards.
- Lead the delivery of contaminated land remediation projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the required quality and environmental standards.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors, creating a collaborative environment and ensuring everyone is working towards shared project objectives.
- Build strong relationships with customers, regulators, consultants and suppliers, providing expert advice and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement, supporting tenders and new business opportunities while helping to improve Veolia's remediation processes and environmental outcomes.

What we're looking for:
- Extensive experience in contaminated land remediation, ideally with 8+ years' experience across consultancy and project management, ideally on COMAH sites or other similarly complex or highly regulated environments.
- Proven project management experience, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale remediation projects, ideally valued at £1m+ and involving multiple teams and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of UK contaminated land legislation and regulatory frameworks, including experience working with bodies such as the Environment Agency, SEPA, NRW or NIEA.
- Technical expertise in environmental site assessments and remediation, including the ability to develop and implement effective remediation strategies and plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders, customers, regulators and technical specialists.
- A proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused approach, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety, compliance, sustainability and continuous improvement.
- Desirable: Understanding and knowledge of working alongside demolition projects.
