Our Telent Technology Services business delivers mission-critical communications, digital and technology solutions that support some of the UK's most essential organisations. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced, Remedy Application Specialist to join our team in Warwick - Hybrid, a day or two a month in Warwick or customer sites supporting the delivery and ongoing development of business-critical applications for a high-profile public sector customer.

What you will do:
- Working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and application solutions.
- Producing technical documentation, including system designs, architecture documentation and configuration specifications.
- Supporting application selection, procurement and implementation activities.
- Managing third-party suppliers, ensuring technical compliance, integration and successful delivery.
- Taking end-to-end ownership of application design, configuration, deployment and transition into operational support.
- Configuring applications and databases to meet customer requirements.
- Planning and managing unit, system and integration testing.
- Supporting applications, reports and system interfaces, resolving technical issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Liaising with software vendors to coordinate software updates, patches and product improvements.
- Monitoring application performance and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation, user guides and training materials.
- Delivering application training and technical guidance to end users where required.
- Providing out-of-hours support for critical application issues on a rota or as required.

Who you are:
You'll be an experienced Remedy Application Specialist with a passion for delivering reliable, high-quality application services within a customer-focused environment. You'll enjoy solving technical challenges, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and continuously improving the applications you support as well as managing a team of application specialists.
Key Requirements:
Essential
- Expert in BMC Remedy or (BMC Helix) - Including Design, Implementation and Support.
- Management of application specialists
- Experience within mobile field applications
- Experience delivering successful application projects within a customer-facing environment.
- Experience implementing and supporting applications in one or more of the following areas:
- Business applications (including document management, collaboration and reporting)
- Service Management
- Network Management
- Experience producing clear, accurate technical specifications and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive approach to learning new technologies and maintaining current technical knowledge.
