About the job
We book retirement planning appointments for UK financial advisers. We are taking on four part-time appointment setters to make those calls.
This is not cold calling. Everyone you speak to has downloaded one of our retirement guides, usually within the last 24 hours. Your opening line is "you requested our pension guide the other day, I just wanted to check it arrived okay". From there you are offering them a free appointment with a senior financial adviser. It is a genuinely useful conversation and people are pleased to have it.
What you earn
- £13 per hour, guaranteed, whatever happens on the calls
- Plus £30 for every appointment you book that the client actually attends
- 16 hours a week means £208 guaranteed before you book a single appointment
- Hit our target of 10 appointments a week and you are on £508 a week, an effective £31.75 an hour
- There is no cap. If you go past target you keep earning at £30 a time

How it works
- Minimum 16 hours a week, taken as 3 to 4 hours a day, 5 days a week
- You pick your hours between 9am and 6pm to maximise bookings
- Fully remote, anywhere in the UK
- You get an account on our calling platform. The dialler does the dialling, you just talk
- Full scripts, training and a named person to call when you are stuck
Why this is worth your time
If you want to get into sales and every entry level role wants two years of experience you do not have yet, this is the way in. You will learn to open a cold conversation, handle an objection and close for a diary slot, on warm leads, with a script and a trainer behind you. Those three skills are the whole foundation of a sales career and most people never get paid to learn them.

Who does well here
- You are comfortable talking to people over 50 and you do not rush them
- You can take a no without it ruining your afternoon
- You turn up to your calling sessions
- Previous sales experience is genuinely not required. Some of our best callers came from hospitality, retail and acting
The details
- Self-employed contract, you invoice us monthly and handle your own tax
- You will need a laptop, reliable broadband and a quiet room
- Paid training in your first week
- We review after four weeks. If it is not working for either of us we say so early
