About the Role
I'm looking for a highly organised, proactive and tech-savvy Remote Business & Marketing Assistant to support my growing coaching, consultancy, training and podcast business.
I'm at the stage where I don't need someone who simply waits for a list of tasks. I need someone who can look at what I'm doing, understand what I'm trying to achieve and say: “I can sort that.”
My work includes leadership coaching, Purpose Recovery, online programmes, workshops, speaking, content creation, my book and The Reframing Room podcast.
What you'll be doing
The role will be varied and could include:
- Managing and organising my diary and providing occasional inbox support
- Liaising professionally with clients and supporting client communications (confident and experienced in communicating with senior professionals)
- Producing and formatting course materials
- Uploading and managing online course content
- Creating and scheduling LinkedIn and social media content
- Repurposing content across different platforms
- Canva and simple graphic/content creation
- Podcast administration, promotion and guest liaison
- Podcast and video editing using Riverside and CapCut
- Email/newsletter administration
- CRM and contact management
- Researching potential clients, podcast guests and opportunities
- Keeping track of projects, actions and deadlines
- General business administration and online research

About you
I'm looking for someone who:
- Is highly organised and naturally proactive
- Has excellent written English and professional communication skills
- Is confident with technology and digital platforms
- Has experience with LinkedIn and social media
- Has experience with video editing software e.g. Riverside and/or CapCut
- Can produce polished, professional course materials
- Has an eye for detail without getting lost in it!
- Can capture someone else's tone of voice and understand brand
- Is comfortable working independently and managing their own time
- Spots what needs doing and gets on with it
- Is confident communicating with clients (senior professionals)
- Has a high degree of discretion and respects confidentiality
- Has a good understanding of GDPR and data protection
- Is trustworthy, dependable and professional
- Ideally has experience working with a coach, consultant, trainer, speaker or personal brand in their growth phase.

I'm looking for someone who can move from: "What would you like me to do?" to: "I've spotted this needs doing – I've sorted it."
That's the kind of person I'd love to have alongside me.
The practical bit
- 📍 Remote
- ⏰ 5 hours per week initially, with potential to grow
- 💷 £25–£35 per hour, depending on experience
- Hours can be traded for mentoring/coaching if desired
- 💼 Freelance/self-employed basis
You must already be experienced and established as a self-employed freelancer/VA and responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.
The hours are flexible, although there will be occasions when availability at an agreed time will be helpful e.g. to support online events.
