Would you like to build an additional income around your job, family or other commitments?
Utility Assist UK is looking for friendly, motivated people who enjoy helping others and would like to develop a flexible, home-based income.
This is a self-employed Utility Warehouse Partner role. It is not an employed or salaried position, and there are no fixed working hours or guaranteed earnings.
What you would do
You would help individuals and families review household services such as energy, broadband and mobile, helping them understand whether Utility Warehouse could offer them better value or a more convenient way to manage their services.
You would:
- Speak with potential customers by telephone, video call or in person
- Help households review the services they already use
- Explain the available options clearly and responsibly
- Support customers through the application process
- Complete online training and develop your knowledge
- Manage your activity around your existing commitment
The Role
Partners build their own customer base through conversations, recommendations, referrals, networking, community connections and appropriate use of social media.
You will receive training, practical guidance and ongoing mentoring to help you do this confidently, but a customer list or guaranteed leads are not provided.
There is no fixed salary or hourly rate. Your earnings depend on your activity, the number of customers you help and the services they choose.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Partners can earn in several ways:
- Upfront commission: Earn up to £250 for every eligible customer you refer who joins Utility Warehouse. The more qualifying services a customer takes, the higher the potential commission. Depending on the customer and the current Partner payment plan or incentive, this can amount to several hundred pounds for a qualifying multiservice customer.
- Ongoing residual income: Once qualified, you will receive a percentage of eligible customers’ monthly bills for as long as they remain with Utility Warehouse and the relevant Partner conditions continue to be met.
- Performance bonuses: Additional bonuses are available for reaching specific customer and development targets within a set period.
- Leadership income: Those who later choose to support and develop other Partners build an additional income from the activity of their wider team. Building a team is optional and is not required to start helping customers.
- Incentives and recognition: Utility Warehouse periodically offers additional incentives, events, recognition and rewards for Partners who meet the relevant criteria.
There is no upper limit placed on what an individual can build, but there is also no guaranteed minimum. Some people use the role to create a modest amount of additional monthly income, while others choose to develop it into a larger, longer-term business. Results vary and depend on consistent activity, customer retention and team development where applicable.
