Remote - Client Manager - Accountancy Practice

Are you an experienced, technically strong Accountant looking to join a forward-thinking practice that's redefining the way accountancy is delivered?

We're recruiting a fully remote Client Manager for a modern, technology-led firm that combines cutting-edge cloud systems with exceptional client service.

This is an great opportunity to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, work autonomously within a high-performing team, while building long-term client partnerships in an environment that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, building trusted relationships and delivering a proactive, technology-driven client experience.
  • Utilise cloud accounting technology and digital workflows to deliver accurate, client-ready accounts, tax, and advisory services with exceptional efficiency.
  • Review complex accounts and tax work to the highest technical standard while coaching, mentoring, and developing junior team members.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, driving accountability, collaboration, and consistently exceptional client outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimise digital systems, and continuously enhance operational efficiency and client service.

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with proven experience working within a UK accountancy practice and managing a client portfolio independently.
  • A digital-first mindset, with advanced knowledge of cloud accounting software, automation tools, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve client outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to inspire teams, build trusted client partnerships, and deliver exceptional service.
  • A proactive, forward-thinking approach, constantly seeking smarter ways of working, driving innovation, and embracing change in a fast-paced, technology-led environment.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary - £50,000 to £60,000
