What You'll Do
- Provide mental health therapy services to a wide variety of client systems in an outpatient setting, diagnosing and treating mental health disorders in a telehealth format.
- Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy services to individuals, families, and groups in a telehealth format.
- Collaborate with other treatment team members, natural supports, and external providers to ensure a wrap-around approach is provided for continuity of client care.
- Create and maintain person-centered treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs.
- Monitor client progress through ongoing assessment and timely documentation according to current agency standards.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to all cultural and ethnic differences.
- Complete agency trainings up to and including certification in evidenced-based treatment models.
- Provide psycho-educational services to the community as assigned by Supervisor or Director.
- Maintain advanced knowledge and skills related to field of work through continuing education per state licensure requirements.
- Provide client care for a minimum of three hours outside the hours of 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Perform all other reasonably related duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.

- Master’s degree in counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Current, active, unincumbered independent license as an LCPC, LCMFT, LCP, or LSCSW
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in routine, urgent, and emergent clinical situations
- Ability to provide therapy to youth and adults across the lifespan, ages 12 and up.
- Ability and desire to work as part of a clinical team while also able to be self-directed and motivated with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Ability to acquire and effectively practice new clinical skills as needed according to evolving agency needs/services
- Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite, zoom, adobe, and other electronic signature applications.
- Experience and comfort with conducting therapy sessions via video conferencing software.
- Ability to independently set up and troubleshoot video conferencing technology.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other digital tools commonly used in teletherapy.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and accessible manner.
- Familiarity with privacy and security regulations related to telehealth services.
- Willingness to adapt to new technology and software as needed.
Preferred
- Experience/training in TF-CBT, CBT, ABFT, or other evidenced-based practice
- 1 year’s experience providing group therapy
