Job Description
Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist - Must be BABCP Accredited
Fully remote - UK* only
Permanent. Full or part time (minimum of 3 days per week - 24 hours)
Salary: £47,000 per annum** plus excellent Bupa benefits
based on full-time, if part-time this will be pro-rata
Operational Hours
- Monday to Friday on shifts between 09:00-20:00
- At least one of your shifts will need to be a late: 11:30-20:00
- Each day will include 5 appointments

Providing high intensity CBT sessions on a 1-2-1 basis, you will treat clients referred from our insurance business who need support with their mental health and wellbeing. Working remotely, you will be a first point of clinical contact for people with potential mental health issues and concerns and you will provide a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service across agreed sectors of care via MS Teams.
You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By
- To provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low-level brief interventions which demonstrates excellent clinical outcomes
- To deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based intervention. To ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client
- To provide different models of service delivery including telephone or video consultation, depending on client preference
- To adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and work collaboratively with the Clinical Leads and wider therapy team
- To adhere to sessional limits depending on the client’s monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, whilst working towards therapeutic recovery goals

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
- Full Accreditation with British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
- Holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) which is BABCP accredited
- At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience providing high intensity CBT interventions, working with clients who have a range of presentations
- IT Skills including proficiency using Microsoft Systems as well as electronic medical record systems
- Diverse and varied clinical experience to draw upon
- Ability to present to groups and deliver training workshops also preferred
- Right to work in the UK
