Job Opportunity: Freelance Content Creator
This freelance opportunity is ideal for a creative content creator with a passion for producing engaging short-form video tailored to the trades and home services sector. The role involves developing consistent, high-quality content for an AI-powered receptionist app designed to support tradespeople and service-business owners. Working remotely and on a part-time basis, you will be responsible for ideating, filming, and editing videos that highlight product features, customer experiences, and trending topics relevant to the target audience. The position is best suited to someone with a strong on-camera presence, a keen understanding of social media trends, and a commitment to reliable, timely delivery.
Deliverables
- Produce 12–16 pieces of content monthly, including 4–6 TikTok and Instagram Reels (15–45 seconds each) and 3–5 longer-form videos (around 60 seconds) for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Create reactive content such as trend adaptations, customer reviews, and product highlights.
- Ensure all content is shot with a smartphone, using suitable lighting and clear audio.
- Collaborate remotely and deliver content according to a set monthly schedule.
- Publish content on the client’s social channels as directed.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience creating short-form video content for social media platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Strong on-camera presence and the ability to communicate in an engaging, authentic manner.
- Basic video editing skills and familiarity with mobile editing apps.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices for audience engagement.
- Reliable delivery habits and ability to meet monthly content quotas.
- Active public social account showcasing previous work.
- Experience in or connection to the trades or home services industry is preferred.
- Must reside in Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, or Florida, ideally near Austin, Dallas, Nashville, Charlotte, Atlanta, or Tampa.
- Access to a smartphone, suitable lighting, and quality audio equipment.
- Eligible to work as an independent contractor.
